Sona Masuri Rice
Sona Masuri Rice is medium-grain rice that's grown largely in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Also called as Samba Masuri, BPT 5204, HMT, or Jeela Karra Masuri, it is considered as the pride of Andhra Pradesh that symbolizes Andhra people. In Telugu, this rice is also called as ‘Bangaru Theegalu (which means Golden Ivy).
Cultivated mainly in Guntur, Kurnool, Mahboobnagar, Nizamabad, Nellore, Warangal and West Godavari districts, it is reed thin, Lightweight and richly nutty, this rice sourced by us possesses agronomic characteristics like high yield potential, good consumption quality, longer shelf life, easy cooking, low calorie content, aroma and purity and above all, has good disease tolerance.
It's processed by technically advanced machines with the best quality of Paddy at the company's state-of-the-art mill. The processing starts with removal of all the impurities by a sophisticated machinery called Testing Winnower that separates from the good paddy grain, undesirables like stones, broken grains and light as well as heavy impurities. This is followed by Milling, grading and sorting by the latest milling, grading and sorting technology in line with international quality standards to ensure high quality and purity of the Rice. The entire processing is done in compliance with the food industry standards and norms. Finally, pure rice is packed hygienically using German and Japanese technology and machinery.
